Good Morning! Oh, I wish this video was from today. But my morning is pretty awesome anyway. I woke up right before 6am. If Thor hadn’t come and snuggled himself in close to my body, I would have got up, but I stayed in bed til 6:30. Took a shower, got dressed and took Thor for a walk. He met three cute little friends, yay, he doesn’t really have any here in Stamford. Back inside, I made breakfast, kissed my hubby who left for work and then I’ve been doing stuff on my computer all morning. In a half hour or so, I’m gonna get ready and walk over to the studio to take a yoga class. It’s been awhile and I feel that my body needs it.
Have an awesome week!

Home for a week

Some random pictures from our Kauai vacation

On Sunday night last week, I was so excited to start a new week and get back to real life after a week of jet lag and a sore throat. But then shit happens (literally). Thor had tummy problems and it’s been going on all week. I have been running out several times with him every day. Sometimes it’s false alarm, but we still need to go out. So, I have been home almost all week. Bored? Yes. We were thinking about spending the weekend in the city, but since the pup hasn’t been feeling too awesome all week, we skipped that. Yup, fun life of puppy parents. I’m still super congested so I took this weekend to try to recover. Hopefully this cold goes away soon.
Ok, enough about this shitty story. Now, I am excited to start a new week tomorrow. And this will kinda be the real start of this year. Wohoo!
Who else is excited about this year?

When something click

I taught kids of all ages for many years and it’s so beautiful to see when something just click, when they figured  something out and when there are visible changes happening in their bodies.
But children hasn’t been on earth for very long so everything they discover is amazing. That’s why I love teaching adult beginners. They have been here long enough to have figured out a lot of things, but yet there’s so much more to learn. We are all beginners at something.
I saw some huge changes in my neighbor (who I teach on Mondays) last night and she seemed so proud of herself. I’m proud of her. This is why I became a teacher.
