On Monday afternoon, J came home from work and 10 minutes later a car came to pick us up to drive us to Manhattan. It took about 1 hour 15 min because of traffic. We had to drive the backways instead the i95.

We arrived at Madison Square Garden and met the woman we were going to the concert with. We decided to go right in even if we were a bit early. We had a large box. I’ve never been to one of these kinds of boxes before. Before, I’ve been those boxes in the middle a little higher up, but this one was on ground level, a large room with a fireplace, a bar and of course food and drinks. From there you had to take a few steps up to the seats which was right by what’s usually the Knicks court. Perfect seats for a concert.

Walk the Moon gave a good show. I had listened to all their songs during the day, but I still only knew that one famous song “Shut up and Dance”. MUSE was really cool. They were all about special light effects and robots and they had dancers with light costumes. Good music too of course.
We had a car to pick us up before the concert ended, but we didn’t mind. It’s pretty crazy after a game or concert in the city anyway.

Next morning I had to get up early and go take my blood test. Oh man, I was so tired. My arm was kinda shaking when she put the needle in so for the first time it actually hurt and all I could think of was that I needed to sleep. I bought coffee on my way home and then I had to stay awake because they were coming to clean out the dryer and put new vent filters in our apartment. I was so happy they came somewhat early in the day. Thor and I took a two hour nap together after that:) It was fun to go into the city for a concert, but maybe next time I won’t schedule a blood test early in the morning the next day:)

The new Hudson Yards on Manhattan, looks so cool.
I have to go explore it one day, not just from the taxi window
Truffle tortilla chips, they were awesome MUSE
