This is the music video that I was a part of in May. I think this came out beautifully and I really enjoy watching it! Derrick Belcham (www.astorytoldwell.com) did a terrific job! And so did Colin and Sarah , who played their 8 minute long music over and over while we danced inside these awesome costumes.

Good morning! The weather is wonderful these days. Back to warmer days for a little bit, love it! Yesterday we took the subway up to 14 St. We stopped for lunch and then we walk all the way down to Battery Park.
It’s so easy to just keep walking on Manhattan. It might look far on the map but you don’t really notice it because you’re occupied with looking at buildings, people and things going on around you, and all of a sudden you have walked like 50 blocks or something.

Cold October

Oh man, it’s been a few really cold days. October brought the fall with mornings of 10 degrees outside! Yesterday and today we were supposed to have a hurricane, but I guess it skipped New York this time. Today we have a blue sky and it’s gonna be warmer again, wohoo! I’m not ready for winter yet. And also, what happened to September? It feels like it was just August…?
I do like the fall in New York though with the change in the trees, pumpkins everywhere, Halloween decorations and you can sit at a cafe in a nice knitted sweater and look at the wind blowing the leaves around outside the window. Until October 1st we’ve had really hot weather so the trees has not changed yet which gives me hope that the winter will stay away a little longer 🙂

Kings Theater and Of Monsters and Men

I’m going back in time a little today. On September 24th I first spent the whole afternoon with Emma and baby Levy. In the evening, after a shower to get the grass stains off my knees, I took the subway up to Union Square for some food and drinks with people via J’s work before we continued to Brooklyn to see Of Monsters and Men at Kings Theater. J’s boss told us a while ago that Kings Theater was a very interesting and beautiful place so we have been excited to go there. This was the third or fourth time we saw this band live and its just as fun every time. But this time I really enjoyed it because it was at this beautiful place, a theater worth to see. Unfortunately we missed the opening band. Jim had played some of their music a few days before the concert and I asked what it was cause I thought it sounded really good. Highasakite, a Norwegian band, it would have been fun to see them. Oh well. We had a fantastic time!

Baby Levy photoshoot

Last week I did a little photoshoot with Emma and baby Levy. E’s fathers birthday is coming up and she wanted to send him a canvas with a picture of her son. She wanted pictures in better quality than photos taken by an iPhone, so she asked me if we could do a photoshoot in the park.
It was a perfect day. We let Levy play around on the grass. He is only 7 months old but he is crawling around, and fast too! I had to be quick in taking the pictures. We had a lot of fun. After the photos we walked back to my apartment for fika. Thor and Levy had met once before but L was so small then so we didn’t let T say hello, but on Thursday L got some kisses…until he grabbed Thor’s fur and Thor got scared, hahah. Oh, poor little guy. But they ended the afternoon as friends so that’s good.
Emma seems happy with the photos. She couldn’t decide which picture that was the best so she chose two to turn into canvas gifts:)

The last one is probably my favorite.
This was so much fun! Babies don’t lie so when you get a smile you know it’s real 🙂
