Hi! I have been sick for a few days. Boring. When I try to do stuff, the energy quickly runs out of me. New York is very cold these days and down here in Battery Park it’s very windy as always. Last weekend I barely had a jacket on and then it got cold again, and this weekend it’s supposed to be warmer again. So weird and no wonder we all get sick. But it is winter now after all, so we all just have to suck it up and hope we’ll be better soon.
I was looking through all my pictures from when I lived in Portugal. I don’t miss the student life there or the dance studios that got flooded every time it rained or the ballet teacher that screamed horrible words in Portuguese or that I had to miss lunch every day because I had no time to go there between classes, but I miss the friends I met there and how hard everybody was working in the studios and the 2€ 2 L beer that you were only allowed to drink outside on the street and of course I miss the wonderful weather. I don’t want to go back to that time, but I do want to go back there again. One day.

Puppy playtime

When we were in Chicago, Thor finally got to meet his cousin Coco. He did not want her as his best friend though. Not. At. All. But we thought that maybe if they got to know each other better they would be just fine. So we went to the backyard and let them run around for a while. Coco seemed fine with Thor but I’m not sure what T thought, hahah. Pomeranians are very protective of their loved ones and when C was happy to say hi to us, T got jealous. Oh well. At least they got some outdoor puppy play time:)

Nar vi var i Chicago fick Thor antligen traffa sin kusin Coco. Han ville dock inte ha henne som basta van. Not. At. All. Men vi tankte att om de larde kanna varandra battre kanske det skulle bli ok. Sa vi gick ut i tradgarden och lat dem springa runt ett tag. Coco verkade ok med Thor men jag ar inte saker pa vad T tyckte, hahah. Pomeranians ar valdigt beskyddande av sina nara och kara och nar C var glad att saga hej till oss blev T lite svartis. Oh well. De fick lite utomhus lek tillsammans iaf 🙂

Grand Cayman SNAPSHOTS

All of a sudden it’s freezing in New York. During the day it’s “ok” but in the mornings it is brutal. Yesterday morning we had -12°c!! So, of course I’m thinking back on our vacation to Grand Cayman. That was definitely the highlight of 2015. We had such an amazing time there. Good thing we have pictures and memories to take us back from time to time so that we can forget how cold it is outside here 🙂

Plotsligt blev det super kallt i New York. Under dagtid ar det “ok” men pa morgonen ar det brutalt. Igar morse hade vi -12°c!! Sa, sjalvklart tanker jag tillbaka pa var semester till Grand Cayman. Det var verkligen hojdpunkten 2015. Vi hade en sa underbar tid dar. Skont att vi har bilder och minnen som kan ta oss tillbaka lite da och da sa att vi kan glomma bort hur kallt der ar har ute 🙂

NYE-2015-2016-fanny

Happy New Year!
I can’t really say that my 2015 was very interesting but I have a feeling that 2016 will be awesome. 2013 was the best year of my life (engaged and then married) and I want this year to be another year to remember.
We are taking it pretty slow this weekend. Just hanging out, cleaning and organizing the apartment, watching movies and cooking. Its cold in New York but with the blue sky it’s still kinda nice to take the pup out for a walk.
How did you start the new year? Do you have any new years resolutions? I don’t, more than that I every year promise myself to be a good wife, a good daughter, a good sister and a good friend. But, yesterday was 6 months until I turn 30, so I have things that I want to do and to achieve before that. I’m excited for 2016.

Gott Nytt Ar!
Jag kan inte direkt saga att mitt 2015 var speciellt intressant men jag har en kansla av 2016 kommer bli awesome. 2013 var det basta aret i mitt liv (forlovad och sedan gift) och jag vill att detta aret ska bli annu ett ar att minnas.
Vi tar det ganska lugnt den har helgen. Bara umgas, stadar och organiserar lagenheten, tittar pa film och lagar mat. Det ar kallt i New York men med bla himmel ar det anda ratt trevligt att ga en promenad med valpis.
Hur startade du det nya aret? Har du nagra nyarsloften? Det har inte jag, mer an att jag varje ar lovar mig sjalv att vara en bra hustru, en bra dotter, en bra syster och en bra van. Men, igar var det 6 manader tills jag fyller 30, sa jag har nagra saker jag vill gora och astadkomma innan det. Jag ser fram emot 2016.
