I thought Cleveland was a nice city to spend a weekend in. It reminded me of Minneapolis, Boston and Chicago, which not everybody agreed with me on, but I guess it was also based on feelings and impressions I’ve had in those cities. I like the city. Very clean. Friendly people too. We didn’t spend much time in the city, but at least I got an idea of it.
We arrived in Cleveland around 11 am on Friday and took a taxi to Jim’s brothers house. Ryan was at work, so we spent some nice time with Annelise and Coco the dog until little Samuel woke up. I’ve seen pictures of our nephew before but he was waaayyy cuter and smaller in person. Both J and I fell in love:)
We went for a walk around the neighborhood, drove to get some food and after Sam’s nap we drove in to the city of Cleveland to pick up Ryan. Went for dinner and then continued to the baseball stadium. Cleveland Indiands vs Chicago White Sox. Our first and last game of the year, haha. Sox lost of course, but we still had a good time. It was baby’s first game and the stadium gave him a certificate and a mini foam finger. Annelise and I walked over to the family area so that she could feed him and we had a good time just the two (three) of us, and I’m sure the brothers had a good time too.

Good Evening! How are you? I’ve been pretty busy trying to create a video for you guys. Ya, that’s right. I have a Cleveland video coming up Wednesday night 🙂 The Cleveland post here on the blog will come up before that. It was a short trip. We arrived, went to a game, visit a museum and then we left, kinda. But it was a very nice trip and I’m so happy we got to meet our nephew. Who knows how old he’ll be next time we see him. Aww, such a cutie!
Hi! We are in Cleveland. We arrived early yesterday and we are leaving early tomorrow morning, so it’s a short and busy trip. We want as much time with Jim’s brother and his wife as we can, and of course snuggle our new nephew, so there’s no time to sit by the computer. Good Morning! How are you today?
I have a lot of things on my to-do-list today. We are going away for the weekend and we are having a neighbor watching Thor and staying in our apartment, so I have to clean our home. I haven’t properly cleaned the apartment in a while so I def need to do that no matter if she stays here or not. Probably gonna do the super cleaning since it’s soon a new season (still summer here) and it’s nice to start fresh in the fall. Plus we think Thor has allergies so I want to clean everything for his sake too. I actually wanted to wait and do laundry tomorrow, but I might just take care of it today. And then I have to go do some gift shopping and I really need to delete and update stuff on my phone and laptop and put it all on my hard drives, cause everything is full and slow now.
Nothing super excited on my to-do-list today, but I like cleaning, I can really enjoy it sometimes. I just need to get my butt off this chair. It’s that first step to start that is hard, then it’s ok and ya, it can be fun:)
