Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning! We arrived in Chicago early this morning. Got up at 4:30am and left for the airport by 5. We flew out from the small airport in White Plains this time. When we got to the airport the line to check in was really long. Thank G that we have TSA pre-check and could walk right in, otherwise we would maybe have missed our flight. During our flight I watched the sunrise the whole way. Oh, it was so beautiful. It almost looked fake. I couldn’t take my eyes off the pink and orange sky.
We arrived 30 min early so that was nice. After we dropped off our bags at J’s moms house, we went for a little breakfast. I chose a sweet start of the day, banana chocolate chip french toast, yummy!

In a few minutes, I’m gonna get ready for our Thanksgiving celebration.
I hope you’ll have a wonderful day!

Stamford Thanksgiving Parade

Hello readers! How are you? Did you have an awesome weekend?

Our weekend was full of a little bit of everything. On Friday night we went to see the new Thor movie. I’ve only seen the first one and that sucked, but this one was actually good. Our Saturday started with brunch at the Darien Diner and then shopping at Walmart. Our mission was to find a Christmas tree. Walmart didn’t have any good ones but next door at Home Depot we found one that we liked. Neither Jim or I want a real tree cause they are messy, smelly and I prefer to pay for a tree once and reuse it rather than buy a new one every year. I can’t wait til we can put our Christmas stuff up after Thanksgiving. The rest of our Saturday wasn’t too exciting. I cleaned out our storage and made space for the new tree. I think November is a perfect time to declutter your home.

On Sunday, we took Thor for a walk to downtown Stamford to watch the Thanksgiving Parade. T always gets too excited and nervous around a lot of people (over stimulation) and barks your ears off but Jim insist on bringing him with. I didn’t get to see or enjoy the first half of the parade cause I had to calm T down. Eventually I just gave the leash to J and ignored T. My ears had got enough. By this time it had got emptied out in the crowds too cause the wind was so strong and cold and kids needed to go home. We were a little disappointed in the balloons. Maybe it was because of the wind that caused a lot of the balloons to face down. Not really exciting at all, but at least I got to experience it for the first time (cause I would never go to the Macy’s one on Manhattan). We went for a late lunch (without Thor), bought a star for the x-mas tree top at Target and then we just hung out at home.

an 11.11 wedding

Jim and I at the weddingThis looks like props from a horror movie that I would watch

Hi guys! I’m alive. It’s been two tough weeks. Somehow I got a bit of superpowers this weekend so that I managed to be a normal person for a little bit which was awesome.
I’ve been so nervous about this trip since I wasn’t feeling well. On Friday we went to a brewery and I had enough energy to enjoy it, but after that when we kinda crashed the wedding rehearsal, my energy ran out and eventually when everybody continued out to bars I walked back to the hotel on my own.
For the wedding on Saturday I got those superpowers and I had a great time. We had fun catching up with friends, met new fun people and we danced all night long. Such great wedding. So happy for Lindsay and Mark
Felt better on Sunday when I woke up but when we had checked out from the hotel it went down again. My belly is now the problem (yes, a new thing after another). It’s been bloated since Friday and since our flight back on Sunday night I have massive muscle pain in my entire stomach. I could finally manage to sneeze this morning, been trying for three days. It hurts when I do deep inhales and I can’t yawn. My belly feels full at all times and I have no idea if I’m hungry unless my stomach is making noises. My guess is that I got so stressed about being sick on this trip that my stomach muscles has cramped up and is now telling me to rest for real. So that’s what I’m doing. Gentle stretched seems to have worked, I feel a little better today.
More pictures from this trip will come.

Good Morning! We’re currently at LaGuardia airport waiting for our flight to Wisconsin.

I’ve been sick all week and my only focus has been to get well enough to go on this trip. I’m feeling a lot better and I keep my hopes up that I will be able to enjoy our weekend. I’ve never been to Milwaukee so I’m excited to see a new city in America.

I hope you’ll have an awesome weekend!
