Our toilet broke the other day and I had to wait for the guy to come fix it on Thursday. He left and the problem seemed to have gotten worse so I asked him to come back. He couldn’t fix it so he said he would order some part to exchange and come back Friday morning around 9-10am. He told me the toilet would still work but be slow. I didn’t want to try, if I really had to pee I could just go down to the lobby. Buuuut….eventually my body freaked out and that’s when I learned that it did not work🙈 Ugh! That is a story I’m gonna keep to myself.
Yesterday at 9:20 am, I took Thor for a long walk to stay out of the apartment. We walked over to Mill River Park. They were all in full business to set up for some country festival happening this weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the park as much. But we hung out in the dog park for awhile, Thor was sniffing every inch of that park and he had a good time. Then we walked to the stream and sat there listening to the water for awhile, very nice. It was a beautiful day yesterday, a bit colder than before which is good for T.
1.5 hour outside and they had still not called me, so I decided to walk back to the apartment building. The lobby person said she hadn’t even seen the maintenance people yet. Wtf? But I got her to call the guy and he came shortly after. I had to take Thor for another 40 minute walk. He was so tired he was almost sleep walking, haha. We met the guy once we were back again and he told me that there had been something stuck but he got it out, the bathroom had flooded a bit, he exchanged the part anyway since he had already ordered it but it should be all fine. So we walked upstairs and now we have a functional bathroom again (and I super cleaned it so if you wanna lick the floor it is safe to do so now hahah). I’m really confused though of what could have got stuck there, it’s not like we throw things in the toilet.
Ok, enough about bathroom problems haha. When J came home we went to a bar for oysters and drinks. Today we’ve been at the gym, J has been out with T for awhile now (he keeps sending me pictures of the two of them at a Mexican place, so cute). Our plan for the night is to go see the latest Quentin Tarantino movie. Have you seen it?
Have an awesome weekend!

Hi! Started today with 30 minutes of yoga/dance movements to wake up the body. Thought it would wake me up but I somehow after both that and two cups of coffee are more sleepy than when I woke up, haha. Maybe it’s because it’s a bit cloudy, I don’t know. I feel that fall is in the air, it’s still warmer outside but it’s just that feeling you get every fall, you know what I’m talking about? Fall is kinda like New Years, you start a new school year or go back to work after a fun summer. Why is it by the way that the school year starts in the fall, why not in the winter?
Yesterday morning was a bit busy for me. I really wanted to work out in the morning but I didn’t have time. After breakfast I had to call the doctors office that opens at 9 and try to get them to put an order in for me. A few problems (on their end) and a few phone calls later, I finally was able get my blood test done at quest (not my regular hcg test, a dif one). Quickly ran home to eat something and then off to acupuncture. I swear, I don’t even care (or, ok, yes, I do care haha) if it works or not, I just love when she leaves me alone in that dark room and I can meditate for awhile. It’s quite hard and it is a challenge, but I see it as a test to not focus on the distractions and a chance to try to disconnect for a bit. She left three pieces of “seeds” this time, one on each wrist and one in left ear, I took them off this morning. Maybe it’s just in my imagination but I am starting to feel the needles working on things in my body. After each session I feel a bit strange and because of that, just like after a massage, I stay away from working out after. For me it is important that the body realize what has just happened and can react to it in it’s own time. I have my next appointment in two weeks, kinda looking forward to it already haha.
Thor was with us on the rooftop today, 24°c and sunny, woohoo!
