Nu ar det ett helt ar tills nasta gang jag fyller ar. Mycket jag kan njuta av under ett ars tid.
Igar kvall var det varsta askvadret. Jag ar ju radd for blixtrar (eller egentligen for tanken pa att de kan ge brander) sa jag tyckte det var obehagligt. Det ar vackert salange de inte ar precis utanfor mitt fonster.
Vi hade bokat bord ratt sent pa kvallen och tur var det, for det hade precis slutat regna nar vi kom till restaurangen, Gigino i Wagner Park som ligger har bredvid oss (dar midsommar firas varje ar). Det blixtrade fortfarande ute pa vattnet nar vi at. Det var mysigt att ga dit. Man har utsikt over Frihetsgudinnan och New Jersey och maten ar italiensk. Det var den basta maten, men vi har ju ocksa the real deal erfarenheten fran Amalfikusten, sa det var bra nog 😛
Just nu tvattar jag for fullt. Maste hinna med en del saker innan jag sticker ivag och moter upp Jim vid lunchtid.
Now it’s a whole year until next birthday. A lot to enjoy during that year.
Last night we had the worst thunderstorm. I’m afraid of lightnings (or actually the thought of that they can cause fires) so I thought it was unpleasant. It’s pretty until it’s right outside my window.
We had a table booked kinda late at night and lucky us cause it had just stopped raining when we came to the restaurant, Gigino in Wagner Park here next to us (were the midsummer celebration is every year). There was still lightnings out on the water when we ate. It was cozy there. You have the view of Statue of Liberty and New Jersey and the food is Italian. Not the best food, but we also have the real deal experience from Amalfi Coast, so it was good enough 😛
Right now I’m doing laundry. Have to do a couple of things before I have to run off to meet Jim around lunch time.
