Nu har Bob och Sarah akt tillbaka till Chicago. Det forsta vi gjorde var att ta en timmes nap, haha. Sa otroligt trotta efter den har helgen. Vi har inte direkt gjort sa mycket, men man blir alltid lite extra trott nar man gar runt pa Manhattan i fuktiga +32 grader och nar man gar och lagger sig sent pa kvallen (= efter midnatt, hahah). Jim ar ledig fran jobbet idag eftersom det ar Labor Day. Skont med langre helg. 

Now has Bob and Sarah gone back to Chicago. The first thing we did was taking an hour long nap, haha. So incredibly tired after this weekend. We haven’t really done so much, but you always get a little extra tired when you walk around on Manhattan in humid +32 degrees and when you go to bed late at night (= after midnight, hahah). Jim is off work today since it’s Labor Day. Nice with a longer weekend.

Igar kom Bob och Sarah fran Chicago. Mat, shopping, mer mat och live musik. En trevlig lordag med vanner. Kom hem sent, tog med Thor ut och sen somnade vi gott och sov till efter 8 imorse (!!). Nu ar det nap-time for oss alla sa att vi sen kan ta oss ut pa aventyr. 

Yesterday, Bob and Sarah came from Chicago. Food, shopping, more food and live music. A nice Saturday with friends. Came home late, took Thor out and then we had a good night sleep and slept until after 8 this morning (!!). Now it’s nap-time for all of us so that we can go out on adventures. 

Sahar kan Thor koppla av ibland. Han gar dit och satter sig med en tass hangades over stolen. Kan det verkligen vara sa skont? 

Thor can hang out like this sometimes. He walks over there and sits down with one paw hanging over the chair. Can it really be that comfortable?

Det ar sa mysigt att ga promenad pa morgonen, speciellt nu nar vi har hund. Imorse gick vi tre en promenad till dunkin for kaffe och sedan en runda runt omradet. Sa underbart vader dess dagar och extra harligt pa morgonen. 
Senare idag far vi besok av Bob och Sarah som ska va hos oss hela helgen. Far se vad vi hittar pa. Blir nog inte fler turer till Central Park med lillen, men nat annat kul kan vi sakert hitta pa. 

It’s so nice to go for walks in the morning, especially now when we have a dog. This morning the three of us went to dunking for coffee and then walked around the neighborhood. So wonderful weather these days and extra nice in the morning.
Later today we will get a visit from Bob and Sarah who will stay with us the whole weekend. We’ll see what we will do. Probably no more visits to Central Park with the little one, but we will do something fun. 

Idag har Thor varit ute pa aventyr. Han fick aka tunnelbana till Midtown dar vi smog upp pa Jims kontor. Alla har ju hort om var lille kille, sa idag fick han ga med upp. 
Sen gick vi till Central Park. Det var varmt i solen, sa vi forsokte saklart att halla oss pa stigar med skugga. Jag hade med mig vatten till honom, sa han klarade sig bra. Han fick aven ga pa graset en kortis, men han vill ju mest ata och grasmattorna har ar fulla med skrap, sa det blev ett snabbt gras-sniff och sen ut pa asfalt igen. 
Pa tunnelbanan hem ville han saklart inte va inne i sin vaska, sa han fick sticka upp huvudet.
Han var sa duktig under hela aventyret. Det ar bra for honom att uppleva alla saker som finns i den har staden. 

Today Thor has been out on adventures. He got to take the subway to Midtown where we snuck up on to Jim’s office. Everybody have heard about our little guy, so today he got to go up there. 
Then we went to Central Park. It was warm in the sun, so we tried of course to be on paths with shadow. I also brought water for him, so he did good. He also got to walk on the grass for a little bit, but since he wants to eat everything and the lawns are so dirty, it could only be a fast grass-sniffing and then out on the asphalt again. On the subway home he of course didn’t want t be in his bag, so he got to stick his head out. He was so good during the whole adventure. It’s good for him to experience all the things here in the city.
