Nu har vi precis sett damernas stafett pa tv’n. Jag har inte foljt OS i ar, jag foljer visserligen aldrig vinter OS (sporter i sno ar sjukt trakigt, man borde aka skidor i oken istallet), men idag har vi haft tv’n pa i bakgrunden till var eftermiddags fika. Dock hade ju hela facebook redan avslojat alla spannade nyheter (tack for det) men det var anda kul att se nagon med sa mycket glod for att ta hem guldet till Sverige.
Jag kommer nog inte folja mycket mer av OS. Blir val mer av hockey dock eftersom jag har en intresserad make (som idag kopte ytterligare en hockeytroja till samlingen). Framover om jag kanner for att kolla pa OS sa kommer jag inte att logga in pa facebook/kolla svenska nyhetssidor. Vi har 6 timmars tidsskillnad till Sverige, och vad ar det till Sochi, Ryssland? 9, va? Sa vi ser det ju inte live. Trakigt att fa veta innan.

Nu har jag mordat mina magmuskler, triceps, biceps och “hangt over” mina ben a la Klein ett bra tag. Kanns skont efter dagens fika 😀

We have just seen the women’s cross-county on tv. I haven’t followed the Olympics this year, I actually never follow the winter Olympics (sports in snow are boring, they should ski in the desert instead), but today we had the tv on in the background for our afternoon ‘fika’. However, the whole facebook had already revealed all the exciting news (thanks for that) but it was fun anyway to see someone with so much competitive spirit for taking home the gold for Sweden.
I will probably not follow much more of the Olympics. It will most likely be some more hockey, since I have an interested husband (who today bought another hockey jersey to the collection). In the future if I wanna watch the Olympics I will not log on to facebook/check Swedish news sites. We have a 6 hour time difference to Sweden, and what is it to Sochi, Russia? 9, right? So we don’t watch it live. Boring to know before.
Now I have murdered my abs, triceps, biceps and “hung over” my legs a la Klein for a while. Felt really great after today’s ‘fika’ 😀

Efter filmpremiaren (1 Februari) fick vi ga upp pa scenen och svara pa lite fragor. Jag fick bl.a fragan om hur det var att oversatta mellan svenska och engelska genom hela varat projekt. Det var kort, men publiken fick tillraktligt med svar och Ulrika och JoAnna kunde gora reklam for projektet i sommar.

After the movie premiere (February 1), we had to get up on stage and answer a couple of questions. I got a question about how it was to translate between Swedish and English during the whole project. It was short, but the audience got enough answers and Ulrika and JoAnna could promote the project this summer.

Igar var det varlds premiar av filmen “Hastdans pa Hovdala”. Det blev en fullsatt salong och vi har fatt sa otroligt bra respons. Inte bara att vi gjorde ett fantastiskt arbete i Sverige, utan ocksa att David Fishel verkligen har lyckats att fanga den har processen pa sin kamera och satt ihop en helt otroligt bra film som ar 1 timme lang.

Det har var ett enormt underbart projekt! Ulrika Mickels Nord ska ha ett stort tack for att vi fick vara med. Hon hittade JoAnna via youtube och gav sig inte utan hade bestamt sig for att The Equus Projects skulle vara en del av det 5-ariga projeket. The Equus Projects aker tillbaka till Sverige och Hovdala Slott i juli. Samma schema, bara 10 dagar att skapa ett helaftonsverk. Denna gang lagger Ulrika pa fler lager. Hastar, dansare fran New York, Klinten Kultur, trummor och eld. Missa inte det!

Jag kan nu avsloja att jag inte kommer att vara med i sommarens projekt. Jag har tackat nej. Det kommer eventuellt hallas en audition i Sverige i April, sa om du ar dansare/cirkusartist och bor i sodra Sverige ar du valkommen att hora av dig till mig: thisisfanny@gmail.com

Yesterday was the World Premiere of the film “Hastdans pa Hovdala”. It was a full house and we’ve such incredibly good response. Not only that we did an amazing job in Sweden, but also that David Fishel really have managed to catch this process on his camera and put together an absolutely incredible movie that is 1 hour long.
It’s was a huge wonderful project! Ulrika Mickels Nord deserves a big thank you for letting us be a part of this. She found JoAnna via youtube and did not give up, she had decided that The Equus Projects had to be a part of this 5-year project. The Equus Projects are going back to Sweden and Hovdala Castle in July. The same schedule, just 10 days to create a full-evening piece. This time Ulrika adds more layers. Horses, dancers from New York, Klinten Kultur, drums and fire. Don’t miss that!
I can now reveal that I will not be a part of this summer’s projects. I declined. It will possibly be an audition in Sweden in April, so if you are a dancer/circus artist and lives in southern Sweden, please write me an email: thisisfanny@gmail.com
