Hoppas ni har haft en fin julafton i Sverige! Skypade med min familj och de verkade ha det trevligt.
Vi har var amerikanska “dan-fore-dopparedan” ikvall. Jim har gjort goda kottbullar och jag har gjort mitt allra forsta potatismos. Sa gott! Vi har saklart kvar rester till varat julbord imorgon. Vi kommer att ha sa mycket mat imorgon!
Igar kvall och ikvall ser likadana ut. Vi dricker ett glas rott framfor Batman. Mycket trevligt. 

English: Hope you had a nice Christmas Eve in Sweden! Skyped with my family and they seemed to have a good time.
We are having our American “day-before-the-day” tonight. Jim has made tasty meatballs and I have done my very first mashed potatoes. So good! We have of course leftovers for our Christmas dinner tomorrow. We will have so much food tomorrow!
Yesterday evening and tonight look alike. We drink a glass of wine watching Batman. Very nice.

Det ar “dan-fore-dopparedan” i Sverige idag. Ingen i min familj svarar mig, sa jag vet inte vad de gor, men eftersom de har gjort samma sak i typ 10 ar kan jag ju gissa. Min make ska snart aka hem och nar han ar har ska vi ga och handla vad vi behover for vart julfirande.
Sa lange tankte jag ge en aterblick fran min svenska jul forra aret.

English: It’s “the-day-before-the-day” in Sweden today. Noone in my family will answer me, so I don’t know what they are doing, but because they have done the same in like 10 years, then I can guess. My husband is about to go home and when he is, we will go and buy what we need for our Christmas celebration.

Omg, jag har precis sett hela filmen “Hästdans på Hovdala”. Jag fick den i ett mejl och har nu kollat pa den en timme langa filmen om var process av skapandet av den fantastiska forestallningen i Hassleholm i somras. Sa otroligt fin! Vilket underbart projekt och jag ar sa oerhort glad over att jag fick vara en del av det och att jag fick traffa alla dessa fantastiska manniskorna.

Filmen kommer ha en forhandsvisning i borjan pa januari och premiaren av filmen ar 1 februari, sa jag kan tyvarr inte dela med mig av denna fantastiska dokumentation an. Ni far vanta lite langre tills den kommer ut. Om ni ar i New York under premiaren hoppas jag att ni tar chansen att se den! Vet inte om den kommer ut i Sverige, men hoppas jag verkligen att den gor!

English: Omg, I’ve just seen the whole movie “Hästdans på Hovdala”. I got it in an email and have now watched the one-hour-long movie about the process of creation of the amazing performance in Hassleholm this summer. So incredibly beautiful! What a wonderful project and I’m so very happy about that I got to be a part of it and that I got to meet all these amazing people.
The film will have a preview at the beginning of January and premiere of the movie is February 1st, so unfortunately I can’t share with you this amazing documentary. You’ll have to wait a little longer until it comes out. If you are in New York for the premiere, I hope you will take the chance to see it! I don’t know if it comes out in Sweden, but I really hope that it will!

Tjingeling

Idag ar det Lucia (vad tycks om min photoshoppad lucia bild? hahaha). Det firas ju inte direkt har och har ar det varken morkt eller sno pa gatan. Men jag har lovat Jim att han ska fa lite sang nar han kommer hem, hahah. Idag lever jag kvar i tiden da jag blev skolans Lucia…i femman, hahah. Sa otroligt langesen! Sjunger nog inte riktigt likadant som da. Kan ju hoppas pa att jag sjunger battre an da. Spelar kanske ingen roll, Jim forstar ju anda inte svenska. For honom later det bara som “bla bla bla bork bork bork”. Hahahhahahha!

Jag har tagit fram lax ur frysen och ska se vad for spannande jag kan laga till middag ikvall. Jag ser sa otroligt mycket fram emot att ha min alskade man hemma ikvall. Mysfredag!

English: It’s Lucia today (what do you think about my photoshopped Lucia picture? hahaha). It’s not really celebrated here and it’s neither dark nor snow on the streest. But I’ve promised Jim that he’ll get some singing when he comes home, hahah. Today I’m living in the time when I became the Lucia for my school…in fifth grade, hahah. So incredibly long time ago! My singing will probably not be quite the same as then. Can only hope that I sing better than then. Doesn’t really matter though, Jim doesn’t understand Swedish anyway. For him it’s just like “blah blah blah bork bork bork”. Hahahhahahha! 
I have taken some salmon out of the freezer and we’ll see what exciting things I will make for dinner tonight. I’m really looking forward to have my beloved husband at home tonight. Cozy Friday!
