In Stockholm

At the hotel in Stockholm. We started the trip with two hour delay, but it didn’t really matter when we realized that we were going in business class. Nice to lie down and I actually managed to sleep a lot on the trip which helps now when we are going out in Stockholm for tourism:)

Animals in Mexico

We are going on vacation soon. No palm trees or high temperature, but it will be so nice! Fika fika fika! Cozy at Stockholm’s outdoor servings. Great coffee! Walks along the water. Tourism. Oh, so lovely it will be!
Speaking of vacation, I have some pictures I haven’t showed you from Mexico. We saw among other things a lot of animals there. Was looking forward to (and also not) see their monkeys, but they had escaped. I hope they are ok!

SOON

Fanny_Jim_3048
Last time in Sweden, August 2013

Next weekend we are in Sweden!! Time flies, now I’m soon gonna see my family!! Of course I hope for better weather this time when Jim visit Sweden. Last time, in August, it was sunny for twenty minutes and then rain. On with the bikini and rain boots, haha. So now I hope that Stockholm gives us great weather so that we can tourist around in Sweden’s most beautiful city.
Today I went up together with Jim. It’s so nice to get to do a lot of stuff before 8 o’clock in the morning. Usually I’m staying in bed until 8 and just flip with my phone = bad habit. Something that I miss a little is Nyhetsmorgon (a tv-program in the morning in Sweden), specially on the weekends. When I studied I went up and had breakfast in front of nyhetsmorgon before I took off for school and did warmup an hour before first class (disciplined dancer, hey hey). Now instead it’s internet browsing on meaningless webpages. Today we live more with our phone than with each other. That’s probably why I love the weekends with Jim so much, cause I keep myself away from internet:)

Miami vs Phillies

When we were done being tourists we went to see a baseball game. Miami vs Phillies. We had really good seats. I liked Miami’s jerseys (nicer than Phillies) so I was cheering for them, which was maybe stupid there in the middle of a whole stadium with Phillies fans.
We got there kinda early since we were done in the city. So we sat there and enjoyed the sun and watched them prepare for the game. During the game we had two drunk men behind us. I got a “shower” a couple of times on my arms by one of the men that couldn’t speak properly. Nice.
We had to leave in 5th innings to not miss our train back to NYC. We had a dinner and a basketball game that we had to get to.

Philadelphia Day 2

Sunday started with that I was resting my head on my husbands chest when he was sleeping. My view through the window was Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Really woke up with wonderful happiness. I do that a lot, but it felt special on Sunday. So happy about what life has to offer.
When we were awake for real, we went down and had breakfast. What a fantastic buffet! I ate so much (Jim knows that I love hotel breakfast and ordered that when he booked the hotel). Best was the bacon and my oatmeal that I topped with a lot of dried fruit and nuts.
When we had checked out, we went for a long walk. Through the whole city. It was closer to 86F outside (!!) and so wonderful! We saw a lot of homeless people, City Hall, the famous Love sculpture and flags from every country along the way. After little over an hour we came to the known stairs from the movie Rocky. It was some sort of family day there, so it was a lot of people. Then we took a taxi to the Baseball stadium located in the same areas as the hockey stadium.
