Early Christmas in Sweden

IMG_4112_2 IMG_4116_2

Of course me and my family had a little mini Christmas when I was in Sweden. Christmas food and Christmas gift opening. Just like last year, Jim and I will celebrate Christmas alone here in New York and it will be a mix of both countries on the table, so it was very nice to get a Swedish Christmas table. There were some things missing, but the most important was there and I enjoyed every bite. My mom taught me how you make the ham (not so difficult) so there might be ham on the table for me and Jim:)
What do you have on the table on Christmas? Do you have traditional stuff or do you renew it every year?

Det regnar i New York idag.

It’s raining in New York today. It fits well with a relaxed day, I need to rest after a jet lagged weekend and long trips. Tonight I’m going to a friend that lives in Brooklyn.
Above is some pictures of the beach where I grew up. Very cold now in the winter of course, but always beautiful.

10 hours

angelina-jolie-maleficent-2014Sag filmen Maleficent pa flyget och jag onskar att jag hade sett den pa bio. Bra film. Vackra farger.
Saw the movie Maleficent on the plane and I wish I had seen it in theaters. Great movie. Beautiful colors.

Traveling between New York and Copenhagen takes about 7 hours. My trip there on Wednesday took 6 hours and 15 minutes (wohoo) but yesterday it took 9,5 hours to fly over the Atlantic. We also had to sit inside the plane for a while before we could get off. Everything else during the day went very smoothly. Usually it takes forever to get through the passport control in NY and I have been sitting in their interview room twice for some hour (because of papers being wrong from DNA). Yesterday I was number two in line for us who has greencard. You scan your card in the machine, details pups up on the screen, you get a receipt and you go to the passport control. There I had one person in front of me, came to a nice man that put STAMPS on my reciept, I went to get my bag that was one of the first ones and soon I sat in the taxi. I was greeted by a kissing puppy and a tired husband.
