Best wedding dinner ever!
Today is 6 months since the wedding ceremony in Italy. To stand there with the man i love more than anything else and promise him love for life was absolutely wonderful.
We were looking for a place with views over both mountains and water, but it was not easy. Finally, we chose the roof of our hotel. We sneaked up there along with the celebrant, photographer and a witness. Absolutely perfect. Mountains, water, and no ugly wedding stuff like the rest of the hotel had.
Our ceremony was 7 minutes long, hahahh. Afterwards, we had two hours with our photographer. We wanted photos from the small non-English-speaking village were our hotel was in and according to the photographer (who has photographed many weddings on the hotel) said that never before that someone wanted photos up there. We got many congratulations (in Italian) from the villagers.
When we had said good bye, we went up to our hotel room where the hotel had arranged champagne and snacks, really cute! And what was the first thing we did? We changed into swimsuits and sat on the balcony. It was around noon and the sun was super hot. Very romantic 🙂
Soon came to be luggage and we spent the rest of the day in the sun and later ate our wedding dinner on a restaurant in the mountains where we were pointing on the menu and hoped that we got something good to eat (we went there more times after that..they had the absolute best food I have ever eaten !) For the main course we had delicious pizza. Best wedding dinner ever!
We got the wedding we wanted. Simple, just the two of us and absolute perfect!
