Vaknade upp och såg snö falla utanför fönstret. Hmm, när blev det kallt undrar jag? Nu har det iaf slutat. Det var nog bara ett kort besök.
Kanske vädret börjar förbereda sig för julen. Resten av New York förbereder ju som galningar. Känns lite tidigt. Såg på nyheterna nu också att de idag har fått leveransen av den stora granen på Rockefeller Center. Starbucks har haft julmuggar i två veckor redan. Wow, vi går från Halloween direkt till jul. Vi har ju Thanksgiving där emellan och jag vill gärna njuta av hösten innan vi går in i vintertid.
Hahah, nu pratar de om Abba på ett nyhetsprogram på tv. Amerikanare som säger svenska namn, så roligt! Ageneta Faeeltskoege, hahahaha, svårt namn:)

ENGLISH: Woke up and saw snow falling outside the window. Hmm, when did it get cold, I wonder? Now it has stopped. It was probably just a short visit.
Maybe the weather starts to prepare for Christmas. The rest of New York prepares like crazy. Feels a bit early. Saw on the news now that today they have received delivery of the big Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. Starbucks has had Christmas cups for two weeks already. Wow, we are going from Halloween straight to Christmas. We have Thanksgiving in between and I want to enjoy the fall before we go into the winter.
Hahah, now they talk about Abba on a news program on the tv. Americans who say Swedish names, so funny! Ageneta Faeeltskoege, hahahaha, difficult name:)

Phone update: We went to a farm in New Jersey somewhere. We met this really nice woman who used to be a dancer. She had such good energy and positive attitude. I love to meet those people. We spent three hours with three of her beautiful horses.
Me and Tal really had to use our skills of observation, as in reading how the horse is responding and what the horse know and don’t know. These horses has never met this kind of work before so a lot what we got to do today was to build trust and try to communicate stuff we know and actually just try it out on those horses. It was not that easy and we had to just go bit by bit to try stuff.
The horses seemed to have fun and they learned a lot of new things. A lot of chewing (which means thinking and that’s good). We will go back later this month.

Tjingeling

The antenna of the Freedom Tower was changing colors last night. I stared at it for so long and forgot about the movie that I was watching. Blue to pink, pink to red and so on. I love when they do stuff with the buildings here in New York.

I wonder how it will look like when the building is finished. I heard that they will be done in the beginning of 2014, I hope that is true. But I must say that it’s interesting to follow the process of this amazing building.

SVENSKA: Freedom Tower’s antenn ändrade färger igår kväll. Jag satt och stirrade på det och glömde bort filmen som jag tittade på. Blå till rosa, rosa till röd och så vidare. Jag älskar när de gör saker med byggnaderna här i New York.
Jag undrar hur det kommer att se ut när bygget är färdigt. Jag hörde att de kommer bli klara i början av 2014, jag hoppas att det är sant. Men jag måste säga att det är intressant att följa processen av denna fantastiska byggnad.

Min mysfredag har borjat. Jag har laddat upp med svenskt godis, varmeljus och Jennifer Aniston pa tv’n. So far, filmen ar inte jattebra. En forutsagbar drama, The Switch, men jag kande for att se en film dar man inte behover tanka sa mycket. Det blir sakert en till film innan jag gar och lagger mig:)

Det ar forsta gangen som jag ska sova ensam i den har lagenheten. Kanns tomt och jag kanner mig galet lojlig som saknar Jim sa mycket, hahha. Eftersom vi har doorman kanns det ratt tryggt att vara sjalv och har nere pa Lower Manhattan ar det tyst och lugnt. Kanns lixom inte riktigt som att jag ar i NY. Tittar jag ut genom fonstret sa andras den tanken ganska snabbt dock:)

ENGLISH: My cozy friday ​​has begun. I have Swedish candy, candles and Jennifer Aniston on the tv. So far, the movie is not that great. A predictable drama, The Switch, but I felt like watching a movie where you don’t need to think so much. It will probably be one more movie before I go to bed:)
It is the first time that I will sleep alone in this apartment. Feels empty and I feel silly that I miss Jim this much, hahha. Since we have a doorman it feels safe to be alone and down here on the Lower Manhattan it’s quiet and peaceful. Doesn’t really feel like I’m in NY. Then I look out the window and that thought is gone:)
