Under 2013 tror jag att vi har vi fatt mer kort an totalt under vara liv…tillsammans. Fran den stund vi berattade att vi var forlovade har vi fatt massvis med kort och gavor. Eftersom vi inte bjod nagon till varat brollop heller sa blev det fler kort och vi har fatt sa mycket gavor.
Vi kanner oss valdigt lyckligt lottade att ha sa manga fina manniskor i vara liv som stodjer vart nya aktenskap. Vi har skickat ut brollopsboxar med kort och brollopsvideo till var absolut narmsta familj och vi har skickat ut brollopskort till alla som har sant kort/presenter till oss. Eftersom det har varit sa manga och vid en massa olika tillfallen hoppas jag verkligen att alla har fatt ett kort tillbaka fran oss. Vi uppskattar det och vill garna visa er det! Tack!

English: In 2013, I think we have got more cards than total during our lives…together. From the moment we told that we were engaged, we’ve got lots of cards and gifts. Since we did not invite anybody to our wedding either we got more cards and we have got so many gifts.
We feel very fortunate to have so many great people in our lives who support our new marriage. We have sent out weddingboxes with card and weddingvideo to our absolute closest family and we have sent out weddingcards to all who have sent cards/gifts to us. Since there have been so many and at a lot of different times, I really hope that everyone has got a card back from us. We appreciate it and really want to show you that! Thank you!

Igar akte vi upp till Midtown West och at god thai pa Room Service (granne med mitt forsta boende i NY 2011). Sedan tog vi oss ner till Battery Park igen och gick pa bio, The Wolf of Wall Street. Jag har faktiskt inga kommentarer kring den filmen mer an att den var onodigt lang. 3 timmar och saker som hande hela tiden. Den var inte dalig, men inte heller den basta film jag sett. Men det var mysigt att ga pa bio igen.

Idag ar vadret riktigt trakigt. Det ar is pa gatorna och det regnar. Sa vi har en dag med data-/tvspel blandat med att stada lagenheten. Inte sa socilat men lugnt och skont. Vi ska val ga ner till gymmet om ett tag ocksa.

English: Yesterday we went up to Midtown West and ate nice thai at Room Service (next door to my first apartment in NY 2011). We then took us down to Battery Park again and went to the movies, The Wolf of Wall Street. I actually have no comments about the movie more than it was unnecessarily long. 3 hours and stuff happened all the time. It was not bad, but not the bast film I’ve seen. But it was nice to go to the cinema again.

The weather is really boring today. There’s ice on the streets and it’s raining. So we have a day with computer-/tvgames mixed with cleaning the apartment. Not so social but calm and nice. We will probably go down to the gym in a while too.

Okej, jag vet att jag ar tidig, men jag har slangt ut julen idag. Har i USA ar det jul sa otroligt lange innan jul (vilket make sense), medan i Sverige har (iaf varan familj) alltid satt upp granen nagon dag innan julafton och sedan vantat till Tjugondag Knut. Har ar det aven ganska ljust hela dagen sa det finns ju ingen tradition med ljusstakar eller julstjarnor i fonstret som far vara dar hela vintern for att fa ljus i hemmet.
Sa nu ar varat hem tillbaka till sitt vanliga.

Okay, I know it’s early, but I have tossed out the Christmas today. Here in the U.S is it Christmas for incredibly long time before Christmas (which make sense), while in Sweden (at least in our family) we always put up the Christmas tree some day right before Christmas Eve and then waited until the “Tjugondag Knut”. Here it’s pretty bright all day so there’s no tradition with electric candles or christmas stars in the windows that will be there all winter to get light in the home.
So now is our home back to normal.

Min julklapp till Jim (som han sjalv bestallde, haha) kom i tisdags. Glad kille. Nu kan han lyssna pa alla sina favoritlatar med Third Eye Blind pa var skivspelare. Han fick ju aven en Pink Floyd skiva av mina pappa sa nu kan han spela massor av musik har hemma…pa riktigt, inte bara via datorn.

Boxen med 3EB finns bara i 500 exemplar. Jim var snabb att bestalla nar han fick mejlet och redan andra dagen hade alla tagit slut. Jim blev nummer 207. Vi gissade val pa att han skulle bli under nummer 100, men fler fans var visst snabbare an vad vi trodde.

English: My Christmas gift to Jim (that he ordered himself, haha) arrived on Tuesday. Happy guy. Now he can listen to all his favorite songs for the Third Eye Blind on the recordplayer. He also got a Pink Floyd album from my dad so now he can play lots of music at home…for real, not just through the computer.

The box of 3EB only exist in 500 copies. Jim was quick to order when he got the email and already the second day they had all run out. Jim became the number 207. We guessed that he would be under number 100, but more fans were certainly faster than we thought.

Det ar svinkallt ute idag! Flera decimeter sno ute nar vi vaknade imorse. De holl pa med plogarna fran klockan 2am i natt vilket var valdigt jobbigt, att inte kunna somna om den enda dagen man ska upp tidigt. Trots att de holl pa utanfor fonstret var det lika mycket sno pa gatorna nar jag tog mig till tunnelbanan.
Men jag maste erkanna att det ar ganska vackert. Och imorse var det inga bilar ute, inga manniskor och nastan inget folk pa tunnelbanan heller. Det ar svinkallt men nu star solen hogt och det ar bla himmel. Allt kommer formodligen att smalta bort under helgen da vi ska fa finare dagar.

Jag har varit hos var koreograf idag och jobbat lite. Jag akte dit forra veckan men vi fick skjuta upp det till idag. Har diskuterat olika saker inom koreografi, kommunikation och om dans med hastar. Valdigt intressant och jag tror att jag och JoAnna kom fram till nagra saker och vi fick massor av fragor att fundera pa.

English: It’s freezing cold outside today! Several inches of snow when we woke up this morning. They were going on and on with plows from 2am last night which was very annoying, not being able to fall asleep on the only day you have to be up early. Although the went on and on outside the window, it was just as much snow on the streets when I walked to the subway.
But I must confess that it is quite beautiful. And this morning, there were no cars, no people and almost no people on the subway either. It’s freezing but now the sun is up high and it’s blue sky. Everything will probably melt away over the weekend when we’ll get nicer days.
I have been with our choreographer today and worked a little. I went there last week but we had to postpone it til today. Have discussed various things within choreography, communication and dance with horses. Very interesting and I think JoAnna and I figured out a few things and we got lots of questions to think about.
