Date-night igar kvall. Sa mysigt. Det skulle bli en treratters, men vi orkade inte med nagon efterratt. Efter middagen hyrde vi The Adjustment Bureau pa var amazon (som netflix). Jag har sett den forut och tycker att den ar ratt sot. Gillar dansen fran Cedar Lake i den ocksa:)
Date-night last night. So cozy. It was supposed to be a three-course, but we were to full for a dessert. After dinner we rented The Adjustment Bureau on amazon (like netflix). I’ve seen it before and I think it’s kinda cute. I like the dance from Cedar Lake too:)

Som starter hade vi baguette med olivolja och peppar (Jim’s absoluta favorit nar vi gar ut och ater pa restaurang 🙂 ) med grona oliver, pepperoni och riktigt god farsk mozzarella.
As a starter we had baguette with olive oil and pepper (Jim’s absolute favorite when we go out and eat at a restaurant 🙂 ) with green olives, pepperoni and really good fresh mozzarella.

Vi gjorde en supergod lasagne. Nastan allt igar kvall var ekologiskt och farskt. En superenkel variant med kottfars, philadelphia, mozzarella gratangost blandat med pasta plattor och en sida med champinjoner till mig. Vi toppade det med farska mozzarella bitar. Till detta hade vi en sallad med gurka, morot, apple, mandel, krutonger, tomat och champinjoner. Sjukt maktigt och det blev massor over, sa jag ser fram emot veckans luncher:)
We made a super delicious lasagna. Almost everything last night was organic and fresh. A super easy variation with ground beef, philadelphia, mozzarella gratin cheese mixed with flat noodles and one side with mushrooms for me. At the top we had fresh mozzarella pieces. With this we had a salad with cucumber, carrot, apple, almonds, croutons, tomato and mushroom. Heavy stuff and we have so much left-overs, so I’m looking forward to this weeks lunches.

Vaknade tappt i nasan och under dagen har jag blivit allt mer mushy i oron-nasa-hals. Men vi har anda forsokt njuta av det varma soliga vadret. Promenerade bort till Broadway och J kopte nya basket skor. Vi fortsatte till Whole Foods och kopte en massa gott till kvallens date-night. Harligt att kunna kopa bra varor ibland.
Bl.a kopte jag coconut flakes. Jag alskade kokos nar jag var liten, men det vande nagon gang nar jag var ca 12 ar. Jag kunde ata det om jag kopte en god chokladboll i Sverige men inte mer an sa. Men forra sommaren nar jag bodde tre veckor ihop med kompaniet hade jag storre kokosflingor pa min grot eller yoghurt vid frukost. Forst idag har jag alltsa kopt hem en pase. Jag ater det som mellanmals-godis nu. Bra att ge saker en andra chans ibland:)
Till min forkylning gjorde jag en smoothie med apple, banan, ingefara, mango water och kokos. Jag forsoker intala mig att ingefaran ska bota mig. Kokos ska ju ocksa vara bra for en massa saker. Haller tummarna for att jag blir frisk snart! 

Woke up with nasal congestion and during the day I have become more mushy in ear-nose-throat. But we have tried to enjoy the warm sunny the weather anyway. Walked over to Broadway and J bought new basketball shoes. We continued to Whole Foods and bought a lot of good things for our date-night tonight. Great to be able to buy good stuff sometimes.
Something I bought was coconut flakes. I loved coconut when I was little, but it turned sometime when I was about 12 years old. I could eat it if I bought a chocolate-boll in Sweden but no more than that. But last summer when I lived three weeks together with the company, I had bigger coconut flakes on my porridge or yogurt at breakfast. First today I bought myself a bag. I eat it as a snacks-candy now. Good to give things a second chance sometimes:)
For my cold, I made a smoothie with apple, banana, ginger, mango water and coconut. I’m trying to tell myself that the ginger will cure me. Coconut is supposed to be good for a lot of things too. Fingers crossed that I will get well soon!

Butterflies

IMG_4690_2Butterflies in my stomach. Every day. I wake up every morning with a big smile on my face because of this man. He makes me so happy!
We’ve been together for a couple of years now, but it still feels so new and exciting. I giggle when I think about Jim. He’s the most wonderful person that I have ever met and I’m so lucky to have him in my life.
I love my husband!

Hummus Kitchen

Tankte tipsa om ett litet stalle i Hell’s Kitchen. Igar var jag och Jeanette och kakade pa Hummus Kitchen pa 9 Ave btw 51st and 52nd Street. Ett mediterranean hummus stalle som aven har veganska alternativ. Vi bada bestallde in Falafel Wrap som jag absolut kan rekomendera. Det var litet och mysigt med tegelvaggar och bra priser.

Thought I could tell you about a small place in Hell’s Kitchen. Yesterday me and Jeanette went to eat at Hummus Kitchen on 9 Ave btw 51st and 52nd Street. A mediterranean hummus place that also has vegan options. We both ordered the Falafel Wrap that I absolutely can recommend. It was small and cozy with brick walls and great prices.

Hej du soliga fredag! Jag har sjuk traningsvark i hela min kropp. I tisdags nar vi var nere pa gymmet bad jag Jim att pusha mig lite hardare an vad jag brukar gora sjalv nar det galler armar. Pa onsdag formiddag korde jag pa hart med benovningar. Sa av bara det har jag blivit helt mor i kroppen.
I onsdags kvall gick L och jag pa pole dance class. Det kravs sjukt mycket teknik och muskler och jag har nu annu mer traningsvark i hela min kropp. Sa roligt det var! Vi tar klassen for att bli starka. Visst, pilates ar ju bra for att bli stark, men att hanga uppe pa en stang ar ju ganska kul:)

De cirkusstudenter jag gick tillsammans med pa Dans och Cirkushogskolan som hade rep eller kinesisk pole sag sa starka och smidiga ut. Jag beundrade det. Jag alskar att kanna mig stark. Jag tog ju en pole dance klass (eller var det tva..?) for precis 3 ar sedan. Jag tyckte att jag gjorde ratt bra ifran mig da, och i onsdags blev jag forvanad over hur latt det var att sitta uppe pa stangen utan att halla i med armarna. Vilken sjuk kansla. Jag tackar mina starka dansben for det:)

Hey you sunny Friday! I have so much workout-pain in my whole body. On Tuesday, when we were down at the gym, I asked Jim to push me a little harder than what I usually do myself when it comes to arms. On Wednesday morning I pushed myself harder with leg exercises. So, from just that I now have a quite sore body.
On Wednesday evening L and I went to a pole dance class. It requires a lot of technique and muscles and I now have an even more soreness in my whole body. It was so much fun! We take the class to get stronger. Sure, pilates is great for getting stronger, but to hang up on a pole is the kind of fun:)
Those circus students I went with at the University of Dance and Circus who had rope or chinese pole, looked so strong and flexible. I admired that. I love to feel strong. I took a pole dance class (or was it two..?) exactly 3 years ago. I thought I did quite well then, and on Wednesday, I was surprised by how easily it was to sit up on the pole without holding on with my arms. What a weird feeling. I thank my strong dance legs for that:)
