Vi ar tillbaka hemma efter en tripp till Ikea i Brooklyn. Det tar inte sa lang tid att aka dit med baten och det gick supersnabbt att aka hem med taxi.
Som sagt, de hade inte mycket till alternativ for soffbord. Vi tog det enda som skulle kunna funka. Passar det inte in hemma sa far vi val salja det och kopa ett bord nagon annan stans. De hade valdigt daligt utbud pa allt faktiskt sa jag fick inte med mig vad jag hade planerat. Ikea i Brooklyn ar nog den samsta ikea jag har varit pa, det ar alltid sa rorigt och inget makes sense. Men, det ar bra att det finns. Ikea ar anda alltid ikea, billiga mobler som man kan byta ut eller gora sig av med utan att planboken grater. 
Nu fikar jag med kaffe och chokladboll (att kopa mat och godsaker pa ikea ar ju det basta med en trip dit) medan mina tva killar sover.

We are back home from a trip to Ikea in Brooklyn. It doesn’t take that long time to go there with the boat and it was super quick to get home with taxi. 
Like I said, they didn’t have much options for a coffee table. We took the only one that might work. If it doesn’t fit in at home, then we can just sell it and buy a table from somewhere else. They had very bad selection of everything actually, so I didn’t get what I had planned. Ikea in Brooklyn is probably the worst ikea I’ve been to, it’s always so messy and nothing makes sense. But, its good that it exist. Ikea is still always ikea, cheap furniture that you can change or get rid of without a crying wallet. 
Now I’m ‘fikar’ with coffee and chocolate ball (to buy food and sweets at ikea is the best with a trip there) while my two boys are sleeping.

sig T och sover bred mig nar jag laser eller jobbar pa datorn i sangen innan vi ska sova.

and sleeps next to me when I read or work on the computer in bed before we are sleeping. 

Vaknade av en fluffig vackarklocka imorse klockan 6:30am. Jim tog med Thor ut pa potty och jag stack ut pa en springtur langs Hudson. Vacker utsikt och frisk luft. Sjukt trakigt att springa, men med en fantastisk utsikt blir det lite battre. Maste ha nya horlurar dock, de jag har nu stannar inte kvar i oronen nar jag springer och musiken ar den som motiverar mig. 
Det ar superfint vader idag och vi ska ta baten till Ikea om en stund. Var lille gnagare har hemma har bitit sonder varat soffbord och matta. Vi hade tankt att vanta med att kopa nytt tills hans vuxentander har tittat ut och tandkottet slutat klia, men nu ar bordet inte sa bra langre. Vi ar radda for att han ska fa traflisor i munnen/halsen sa vi tejpar, men att ata tejp ar inte bra det heller. Sa nu far bordet aka ut och vi koper ett billigt bord pa ikea. De har dock inte sa mycket alternativ pa bord som inte ar i tra, men vi far se. 

Woke up by a fluffy alarm clock this morning at 6:30am. Jim took Thor out for potty and I went out to run along Hudson. Beautiful view and fresh air. So boring to run, but with a fantastic view it gets a little better. Must get new headphones though, the ones I have now doesn’t stay in my ears when I run and the music is what motivates me. 
It’s super nice weather today and we will take the boat to Ikea in a little bit. Our little chewer at home has destroyed our coffee table and rug. We wanted to wait to buy new stuff until his adult teeth showed up and his gum stopped itches, but now the table isn’t very good anymore. We are afraid that he will get wood chips in his mouth/throat so we tape it, but to eat tape is not good either. So now the table has to go and we will buy a cheap table at ikea. They don’t have many alternatives on tables that is not in wood, but we’ll see. 

Sa, nu har vi ett fall med Ebola i New York City. Ingen ide att oroa sig, men man bor val vara forsiktig. Vad jag inte kan forsta dock ar hur dum den har lakaren verkar vara. Han jobbar med lakare utan granser och behandlade personer med Ebola virus, kommer tillbaka till NY och fortsatter dagen som ingenting. Aven om han inte hade nagra symptom sin forsta vecka tillbaka sa borde han val for sakerhets skull satta sig sjalv i karantan..? Ebola smittas genom vatska och fran direkt kontakt, men spridningen ar stor och en lakare borde val anda vara lite mer noggran? Han borde veta att symptomen kan synas sa sent som 21 dagar senare. Idiot. 
Som sagt, jag oroar mig inte an. Skulle fler fall visa sig i NYC sa hyr vi en bil och lamnar staden, inte mer med det. 

So, now we have a case of Ebola in New York City. No need to worry, but we should be careful. What I don’t understand though is how stupid this doctor seem to be. He works with Doctors without borders and treats people with Ebola virus, comes back to NY and continues the day like nothing. Even id he didn’t have any symptoms his first week back, shouldn’t he just in case put himself in quarantine..? Ebola spreads through fluids and from direct contact, but the spread is big and a doctor should be a little bit more careful? He should know that symptoms can show as late as 21 days later. Idiot. 
Like I said, I don’t worry yet. Should more cases show up in NYC we will rent a car and leave the city, that’s all. 

Att Thor sover med oss nu ar helt ok. Det ar ratt mysigt. Men nar man vaknar mitt i natten och han bara sitter dar och stirrar pa en ar lite creepy. For tva natter sedan hade jag en drom som slutade med att jag lag pa ett operationsbord och blev sydd i magen pa helt random stallen (sa sjukt!!). Jag vaknar och dar star Thor pa min mage och trampar med alla fyra, som om han bakade en kaka. Sen var det pusskalas i nagra minuter tills han la sig bredvid och somnade igen. 
Det har antligen slutat regna. Jag har haft tva dagar dar det kryper i benen pa mig. Maste nog se till att gora mig av med lite energi idag. Det blir mitt mission. 

That Thor is sleeping with is totally ok. Its pretty cozy. But when you wake up in the middle of the night and he is just sitting there staring at you is a little creepy. Two nights ago I had a dream that ended with that I was on a surgical table and got sewed in my stomach on random places (so sick!!). I woke up and there was Thor standing on my stomach and treading with his four legs, like if he was baking a cake. The there was a kissing party for a couple of minutes until he laid down next to me and fell asleep again. 
It has finally stopped raining. I have had ants in my pants for two days. I must probably get rid of some energy today. That will be my mission. 

Det regnar idag med. Vi gick pa en lang promenad innan nar det var uppehall. Maste fa T att ga lite langre aven nar det ar daligt vader. Valdigt mysig promenad idag. Nastan ingen ute. Nu oser det ner utanfor fonstret. Thor ligger trott har pa soffan och jag dricker nymalet och nybryggt kaffe. Valdigt slapp morgon med andra ord. 

It’s raining today as well. We went for a long walk earlier when it had stopped raining. Have to get T to walk a little longer even when it’s bad weather. Very cozy walk today. Almost noone outside. It’s pouring down outside the window now. Thor is tired here on the couch and I’m drinking freshly ground and brewed coffee. Very slow morning that is.
