Mushy times

I wasn’t feeling too awesome yesterday. Had a pretty easy day. Thor and I went for a few long walks to enjoy the weather. 27°c in October! Love it!! In the afternoon, our neighbor took T for another long walk and then when J came home, we went over to her place to help her with some things. After that, we walked to a restaurant, Cask Republic, and sat by the open window. So warm and nice outside! We only ordered starters, and they were all really good. Popcorn with bacon, fried zucchini, shrimp & grit and meatballs. Yum! I was feeling really mushy after our dinner so we went home and relaxed on the couch and watched baseball all night.

We are going to a concert tonight. I’m excited, even if I don’t feel super great. Have an awesome weekend!

Mill River park

Thor and I went for a long walk this morning. It was time for T’s second potty and I was planning on taking him out for like 20 min, but it was such a beautiful day that we just kept walking for over an hour. We ended up in Mill River Park, right by the city center. I’ve been in that park once before for an Indian Independence Day celebration thing, but never walked around it. It’s actually pretty big. So quiet and beautiful. We sat on a bench after about half of the park walk and watched the birds eat from the feeder. T was pretty warm, so we walked home after that.

I’m not feeling that awesome, so a long walk was perfect today.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

On Saturday, we drove to R and A’s breakfast place, but it was closed because of yom kippur, so we drove to another place. The food was really good, I ordered french toast, mmm! We continued our drive into the city and walked over to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Guess if I was excited:) R didn’t wanna join us but A and the baby came along which was nice. Little Sam was such a good boy the whole time, slept, ate and slept some more:)

I don’t know what I really expected but I felt like the museum was missing something. Can’t put my finger on it. But, it was a great museum, I enjoyed it. They had a few exhibitions, like the Rolling Stones magazine 50th anniversary. After the museum, Annelise took the baby home and the three of us stayed in the city for a few more hours. I would have loved for A to come with us, but the baby needed a real nap. We went to a bar for some food, walked over to the “flats” where R and A used to live, and we finished the city night at a burger bar.

Poached egg breakfast

Good Morning! I’m having a really awesome morning. For breakfast I made myself two poached eggs on English muffin with some baby spinach. Yum! My eggs were a bit old so I tried a new way to make them. I watched a clip with Jamie Olivier yesterday who suggested if your eggs are old to spin the water before you pour the egg in, and it worked. They might have cooked a little too long, but I thought they were still perfect.

Today is going to be a warm day so I will try to do all the computer stuff now and then go outside and soak up all the sun I can:)

Have an awesome day!

Pic I took yesterday. Trees are slowly changing colors, so beautiful!

Here’s a video from our trip to Cleveland. I realized as I was adding all the clips for edit that I hadn’t filmed much from the actually city, but whatever, I wanted to share this video with you guys anyway. You can check the previous and future blog posts for photos from our trip as well. I hope you enjoy this video.

This is the first time I’ve made a video like this. It was actually pretty fun:) At first, my laptop was being cranky for whatever reason and it seemed like a lot of work, but eventually when I had restarted the computer, I had a lot of fun! And I learned some new stuff:)
I would love to make more videos for you guys. It would be awesome if you could share your opinions or any other thoughts with me, so please leave a comment on this post or on the youtube video.
