On one of our days on Grand Cayman, we decided to walk to Cayman Spirits Co. distillery. Jim had tasted the Seven Fathoms Rum the day before and really liked it and then found out that you can go tours at the distillery, so that’s what we did. We got to taste all their different rum and vodka that they make there.
I’m not a big fan of rum but it was very interesting to hear how they make it and the guy was super nice and really knew what he was talking about. For example, I thought it was interesting to hear about that the Seven Fathoms rum goes under water in oak barrels for three years.
