Even if we are probably gonna end up living here for another year or so, I have already started to clean out our apartment. I. Don’t. Get. Where. It. All. Comes. From! Really, where does all the crap we have come from, how did we end up with this much stuff? The sad thing is (or good thing, I don’t know) that I really like a lot of the little stuff we have and I keep thinking of where it will be placed once we have a house, but for now it’s just clutter. I have no space to have it out to enjoy some of it so it’s just packed in boxes taking up space in our storage room. And all the boxes drives me crazy, same when we lived in the apartments on Manhattan. We had no storage then but some of those (big) boxes we just couldn’t get rid of cause we needed them for when moving (like special boxes for computers and such that you can’t really buy when moving). So, in a way we don’t really have stuff, we just have boxes with boxes in boxes hahah. Or, no, ok, we have a lot of crap as well:)
My sister has just found out that they got a new place to move into in a couple of months and I told her to start packing and sort their things out right away. You always end up stressed out packing in the last minute either way, so the more you can deal with stuff before the better. When I was pregnant we really thought that we were gonna move “soon” and I started to declutter already then. But then shit happened and the whole moving and house hunting process was put on hold. I still have no idea of when we can get out of here, it might be a few years, but I want to be prepared for whenever that happens 😀Â
