Ruff Days

Every day feels like something else these days. It can be Friday or Tuesday or Dogday or Barulbaday or Smuschyday, it doesn’t matter, every day is the same (and please don’t ask me what those days are, I made them up). Or, ok, the weekends are still different since my husband and I can enjoy coffee together instead of in front of our computers in the morning. But J still checks the news all weekend and keeps himself updated about everything going on in the world, because he has to.

Fifth week now of isolation and distancing. We are not crawling on the walls yet, but after a weekend of heavy rain and a grumpy puppy, it is definitely harder. J has been nice and been taking T out all weekend so I haven’t actually left the apartment since Friday. I was out for a quick potty with T this morning, felt nice to get some fresh air, but the dog area that is part of our building was covered in poop, not fun at all. I don’t understand, how hard is it to pick up after your dog?

So what did we do this weekend? I actually don’t remember hahah. We watched a movie, did yoga, cooked food, played with Thor and all this toys, I cleaned the apartment, played pc games.

Jim and I did yoga together

Maybe because we didn’t do anything and didn’t even go outside this weekend, it does feels a little bit more like a Monday today. Last night I tried to make myself some sort of ‘schedule’. It’s easy to just have days fly by and do all those things on the ToDo lists whenever you feel like it…and when you’re just at home there’s a chance you don’t feel like doing them haha. And if we have to stay at home for another month, I think it’s a good idea to have a more structured day to day living.
J works 10-12 hours or so every day so I have to adjust some of the things on my ToDo so I’m not in the way (like, no vacuuming and not load/unload dishwasher when he’s working cause he’s on the phone making deals and whatnot). Normally I would just do something on my list whenever I can do them, but now I have to adjust, so a “schedule” might help. I’m excited to test it out this week:)
