Right after I had updated the blog yesterday, when I was having a relaxed morning, enjoying my coffee on the couch, my phone decided to go dark in the middle of whatever I was doing on it. Couldn’t turn it back on and the phone was really hot. In the afternoon, we went to the mall and had some phone store take a look at it. It wasn’t the battery, it wasn’t the screen, it wasn’t water damaged or damaged from mistreating it (I take good care of things I own). They told me that it seemed like the phone was fried, overheated. This means that everything on my phone is lost. I could pay a bunch of money to a company and try to get all my data, but I think I have to just accept that my stuff is lost. I probably have 80% or so saved, but I know there is stuff I haven’t backed up and now it’s forever lost. And if things like phone numbers and other stuff isn’t saved on my google account, then I can’t get that info either since my phone won’t start.
If the fried phone and lost things wasn’t enough yesterday, I woke up with a big cold sore on the tip of my nose (I look like Rudolf) and the zipper on my jacket broke. But, our Christmas tree that we put up yesterday is the most beautiful tree I’ve ever seen, so that’s at least one positive thing from yesterday:)
So, I’m searching online today for what phone to buy tonight. Right now I don’t have a phone at all. My old phone doesn’t have a sim card (it’s like built in or something… ya, strange), so I can’t use that one til I find a new one I like. So I have to just pick a phone and be stuck with that one for a few years.
R.I.P my Samsung
(I have never broken a phone, it looks like this now after the guys opened it)
