An afternoon in the NYC

After my breakfast and blogging yesterday, I took the pup out for a longer walk before I had to leave for class. It was a “strength” class, a one time thing. My legs are so sore today!! I came home, took T out again (he didn’t do all his business before) and then I jumped into the shower, had leftovers for lunch, got myself ready and took T out again (still nothing).

Took the train into Manhattan and decided to go for a walk and “inhale the city” like I call it. Walked from Grand Central to Bryant Park and sat down on a bench for a few minutes. People watching can be very nice sometimes:) Continued my walk down on Broadway, passed Macy’s and soon I was down in Chelsea.

Jeanette was a little late so I went to Fika on 16th and 6 ave. I was really really sweaty and needed air conditioner! I ordered a soy latte with extra espresso and a cinnamon bun and read in my book until she came. Oh! It’s been like 6 months since last time I saw her. It’s nice to have her back in NYC. She is such warmhearted person and I’m always inspired and happy after some time with her.

When she went to a class, I walked around. Inhaling the city:) Went to Washington Sq Park and saw some interesting dance/art/whatever it was, walked back to 18th to the container store and bought stuff for my home office. Considered to walk all the way up to Grand Central, but it was dark out and I was actually a bit tired. So I walked down to Union Sq, took the subway up and got on the train.

Pretty good day. Strength workout, lots of walking, a couple of fun fika hours with a friend and Manhattan time. I was excited and inspired to do a bunch of stuff today, but things changed and I needed to care for my little pup. He seems a lot better now, just a bit tired still.
