Good morning! Thor and I just came back home from a super duper sweaty walk to the coffee shop in the city center. I’m wearing a t-shirt and shorts and when we came home I looked like I had been in a hot tub for a few hours. I don’t mind it though, I’m rather sweaty than cold:)
Yesterday, I was at the gym for an hour working out, mostly ballet leg stuff and pilates with light weights. The motivation was on high and I could have stayed there way longer to push myself. But I suddenly remember the solar eclipse. I saw lots of people were standing out on the side walk. I quickly grabbed my things and went upstairs, took a shower, created myself a cereal box that they recommended (cause I didn’t have any special glasses, and I wanted to see if that box actually worked) and went out on the terrace. Right after the total eclipse, it was pretty cloudy outside and the box was of no use. But I did look up for one second and saw it. The clouds actually made it easier. I grabbed my phone and directed the focus and light to be able to snap some pics. Over the years, I’ve trained myself at taking pictures when barely looking or to take them really quickly, so I actually got a few good ones with both my phone and my canon without having to look into the sun for more than a few sec in total. And I noticed now that the pics I took of the sun in the reflection of the glass table before that shows the beginning of it. So, I guess I saw the whole thing 🙂
At night, I met the same two neighbors as last week and I guided them through pilates and then stretch. They got good challenges and nice hip openers. It was very nice. We are also getting to know each other on a deeper level (we do the meditation together as well). We all have very different backgrounds and we are in different ages so it’s nice to listen to each others stories while in a stretch.
