Vilken fin dag det blev. Stralande sol och snon smalter bort. Man kan inte tro att det varit en absolut fruktansvard snostorm tidigare idag.
Det oroar mig dock att det saltas sa otroligt (onodigt) mycket pa gatorna har i NY. Vi tvattar rent Thor’s tassar nar vi kommer in, men det ar inte tillrakligt, vi maste kopa boots! Och det ar jattesvart att halla Thor borta fran att ata snon. Jag ska inte ga in pa detalj, men min eftermiddag har spenderats med att springa ut med T och sen ge honom ett rump-bad i handfatet. Det ar inte roligt. Vet inte om det ar pga vagsaltet eller av annan orsak, men oavsett sa ar inte salt bra for hundar. Har ni hund? Hur gor ni pa vintern? Beratta garna.
What a nice day we got. Sunny and the snow melted. You can not see that there had been an absolute terrible snowstorm earlier today.
What worries me though is that they put so incredibly (unnecessary) much salt on the streets here in NY. We clean Thor’s paws when we come inside, but it’s not enough, we have to buy boots! And it’s really hard to keep Thor away from eating the snow. I’m not gonna tell you details, but I spent my afternoon by running out with T and then give him a butt-bath in the sink. It is not fun. Don’t know if it’s because of the salt or for another reason, but either way, the salt is not good for dogs. Do you have a dog? How do you do in the winter? Tell me.
