Today, September 22, it’s 20 years since the first episode of FRIENDS premiered. That, 8 O’Clock Coffee is celebrating by putting up a Central Perk Cafe in New York City during one month.
Yesterday we went to 199 Lafayette St and stood in line to the cafe. We came there 9:15 and they opened the doors at 10am. We came inside around 10:15, so 1,5 hour line in. They opened the cafe on Thursday the 18th and it has been very long lines every day and all day long. Some had to wait for hours. Worth it? Yes, absolutely! If you’re a Friends fan it is a must 🙂
I heard about it from my sister who is the biggest Friends fan I know. Wish that I had gone there with her. Instead, Jim came with me. He is so nice to put up with my wishes.
