Killen bredvid oss borjade fraga en massa saker om “the proper way to eat a Swedish semla”, hahah.
I have had the computer off since Friday. Wonderfully nice actually. So no update here.
But what has Fanny done for a couple of days then?
On Friday we were at Teodora Restaurant in Midtown East and ate good food with Lilja and Aaron. Incredibly nice and a lot of laughter.
The weekend has been calm. We took a walk over to Fika and ate one semla each on Saturday. They had the “regular” size of the semla this time (Jim’s first last year was small and did not give the same feeling). I talked about how fun it is to eat semla and you always get cream on your nose. The guy next to us began to ask a lot of things about “the proper way to eat a Swedish semla”, hahah. In the evening we had a nice date-night with homemade dinner and movie. Chicken fillet, rice, asparagus, sallad with homemade croutons, very advanced:)
Since there was a new blizzard on it’s way (which then consisted of three snowflakes) we on Sunday went out on a shopping spree to find proper shoes for Jim. When we got home we saw that Jim had received a small shoe and a big shoe (!!!). We went out again, waited for ages in the shop on that another store would bring the other shoe. Shopping for shoes took the whole day. Luckily it was nice weather and great to walk around.
Yesterday, I had rehearsal as usual. Our hours consisted of discussions and exploration of Laban. Since JoAnna is educated in Laban Movement Analysis, we could obtain a proper teaching on how it’s structured. However, it suddenly felt like we were in class and not at a rehearsal, but I think we came up with a few things we want to continue to explore.
