Imagine Dragon, Pussy Riot, Blondie, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Susan Sarandon, Yoko Ono, Madonna, The Flaming Lips for att bara namna nagra. Vilken otroligt lang kvall. Varje band spelade 3 latar vardera. Manga langa tal.

Yesterday I was home maybe for 30 minutes during the whole the day. First rehearsal all morning, then lunch with Lilja. Walked around in the slushy snow. Sat in a waiting room for ages and then quickly home to eat leftovers from lunch. Jim came home, changed into dry socks and then off to Brooklyn.
Jim got in the last minute tickets to the concert that Amnesty International arranged at the Barclays Center. Imagine Dragon, Pussy Riot, Blondie, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Susan Sarandon, Yoko Ono, Madonna, The Flaming Lips to just name a few. What an incredibly long night. Each band played three songs. Many long speeches. Videos in between the bands. But it was interesting to hear some more about Amnesty’s work.
We were home by 1am and I feel so sorry for J who had to get up early to go to work. We stayed so long just because I so badly wanted to see Yoko Ono. I thought she was going to make a speech  and introduce one of the bands, but it turned out that she “sang” the first song when The Flaming Lips which was the last band came up on stage. So it is my fault that we stayed out so late, otherwise we could have gone home after half of it, hahah.
